Items for Auction or Sale in Internet Store

Inland Hospice has successfully established its presence on the internet by the opening of its web-based "virtual" resale store, "Community Antiques and Fine Art." The newly established store is operated under the auspices of the Ruby Lane Online Shops, a well-respected online service. You can visit Inland Hospice’s "Community Antiques and Fine Art" store by visiting our stores website at:

During the arduous process of securing the resources necessary for the storage, inventory management and sales of goods as part of a new program, Inland Hospice has had the good fortune and the privilege to be the recipient of some wonderful items, donated or submitted on consignment basis by our valued supporters and other friends throughout the Inland Valley communities. Donation and consignment item highlights include:

  • Watercolors (2) executed by California artist Gerald F. Brommer (1927 - ), life member of the National Watercolor Society and the National Arts Club. Brommer is well known for his coastal landscapes and Hawaiian scenes.

  • Oil paintings (2) executed by artist Derk Smit (1889-1985), noted landscape and marine painter active in California and in Brown County, Indiana.

  • Oil painting depicting a Native American, painted by the noted artist Ira Yeager (1938 - ), known for his portraits of Native Americans and his abstract landscapes.

  • Watercolor portrait of a female figure executed by renowned Claremont resident and artist Milford Zornes (1908-2008). James Milford Zornes, who passed away at his Claremont home on February 24, 2008, was the last living artist in the small but elite group of California Scene Painters, noted for their exquisite watercolors. Zornes, a member of the California Water Color Society, for which he later served as president, and the American Watercolor Society, was noted for pushing the watercolor medium beyond its traditional boundaries.

Inland Hospice is actively seeking a variety of items that we can offer for sale at our online Community Antiques and Fine Art establishment as well as through the services of reputable auction houses.
